This is an all-around paradise! We had a most spectacular stay. We loved the house, we felt right at home. William was a wonderful host and very friendly. We had great hikes, enjoyed cooking by Vicki and Leda, who made the best meal we had all week! They cooked our snappers freshly caught that morning, with potatoes, black beans, rice and delicious banana pancakes. We were in heaven! You could get addicted to all the fresh, sweet and juicy fruit! This amazing place satisfies all your senses. The warm ocean was still refreshing and we swam for hours. The greenery at is more lush than we imagined. We saw giant fig trees, crotons and many other plants we grow as house plants. This is a plant lover’s dream, the varieties of orchids, ginger and bromeliads amazed us. The coastline, where water meets the jungle is beautiful. Watching the amazing wildlife is something we will never forget! We enjoyed a lot of it right in our own yard!! And we actually saw real fireflies! The waterfall hike with William was great fun. The boat tour and wildlife preserve is a “must do.” We saw dolphins, snorkeled and the preserve is really fun and interesting. Jungle hikes, beach walks and surfing, surfing, surfing! Hearing the howler monkeys was the most awesome sound, like giant gorillas. We loved listening to the birds and waves crashing. Smelling the sweet scents of the wet earth, flowers or fruit on the ground was also unforgettable. We also loved the smell of clean sheets and towels! The information received before our trip was very helpful. The place, the people and casas are all amazing. It was a family vacation we will never forget. The teenagers even enjoyed it – even without their cell phones! We love everything about Casa Bambu and would recommend it to anyone who wants a tropical, exotic and peaceful vacation. We WILL be back!!
